3 Easy Ways to Quickly Make Money on Fiverr

Fiverr is one of the best ways to get started on making money online, especially if you’re eager to make cash quickly and would like to see results as soon as possible. I have previously shared some success stories on how sellers on Fiverr managed their mortgage, bills, bought a bike and even a house with their earnings on Fiverr. I have personally made $500 in my first few weeks, which gave me the boost of confidence to offer other higher-priced writing services.

Once you’ve decided on what type of products or services to sell on Fiverr, it is now time to get to the exciting part – making money!

I will share 3 really easy ways I’ve used, that allowed me to get my first sale within 24 hours:

1. Set Up Multiple Gigs

Some may argue that Fiverr is saturated with people offering similar services, and nobody knows for sure how Gigs are being ranked when searched. However, it is apparent that if you use keywords in your Gig title and tags, it will be easier for customers to find you. Also, create multiple gigs offering the same service, but use variations of titles. For example, for selling a 500-word article, I may use:

“I will write you a 500-word article in 24 hours for $5”

“I will write a unique 500-word article for $5”

“I will write an engaging 500-word blog post for $5”

“I will write an SEO article 500-word for $5”

You may even go to the extent of varying your descriptions for each Gig, and see which ones best convert into sales.

2. Write Attractive Headlines & Be Specific

Make sure your Gig headlines are attractive, by using adjectives. See how I have used words such as “unique,” “SEO” and “engaging” in the above examples? Other words you can use are:

  • quality
  • professional
  • beautiful
  • pretty
  • interesting
  • experienced

There are lots of words to use to describe your service. Simply Google for “Adjectives” and you’ll find a lot of options!

You can also try to create headlines that are specific to a topic, such as:

“I will write a Fitness article for $5”

“I will write a Make-up tip article at 500 words for $5”

Also, be specific about your service in the description. Some sellers may reject topics that are adult-related, and you may also let your customers know what information is needed before you can get started on the order. With experience, you will become better at crafting a better description.

3. Express Deliver if Possible

Offering to complete your Gigs in 24 hours allows you to be categorised under “Express Gigs.” As a frequent shopper at Fiverr, I tend to filter the results based on “Express Gigs.” If this is possible for you, make your Gig “deliver in 1 day” and make sure you do so!

Do this for a few orders, and don’t be afraid to ask for a positive review. Upon delivering, you may leave a note to your buyer saying, “Thanks for ordering my Gig! If you liked my service, please feel free to leave a positive review. If there is anything I can improve on, leave me a message so that I can resolve your issue.”

This message does 2 things: 1) asks for a positive review; and 2) let customers know that they can use the message button to resolve a problem instead of leaving a negative review straight away.

The strategy is to offer Express Gigs to build reputation and gather reviews, thereby improving your seller’s rating and obtaining trust from more customers to purchase your Gig. Once you’ve obtained enough reviews, you can always extend your delivery time for future orders.

NEVER Create Multiple Accounts

While creating multiple gigs are acceptable, do not create multiple accounts as this can lead to your account being suspended! Plus, it is always to concentrate all your buyer ratings into 1 single Fiverr account!

NEVER Give Misleading Information

Always be honest about what your Gig entails and do not write misleading descriptions or headlines. Providing inaccurate information can lead to a frustration and discontentment from your buyers’, exposing you to more negative ratings. A lot of time will be wasted on managing these customers, which are totally not worth the effort!
